Design Information
SCI prestressed concrete piles are important elements used in the foundations of buildings, bridges and marine structures. Throughout Australia, many areas have poor soil conditions which therefore make precast, prestressed concrete pile foundations an obvious choice for construction. This is also true for lightload structures. Prestressed piles are the preferred choice among designers when performance, durability and economy are considered.
